Default Rod protection when flying abroad

Hereís one of those non-fishing objects, that may have a use for those of us who take multi-piece fly or lure rods abroad in our hold luggage. It goes without saying that your case/rolling duffel has to be long enough to accommodate it, but you could fit 4-5 flyrods inside this protective tube that can be lengthened.

It weighs little, isnít super-rigid but if you pack well, it should be strong enough to withhold rough baggage handling. Paid £11 for mine in a London artists materials shop.
