Default problem with wychwood truefly sla reel

only bought the reel last week and have noticed that the cassette keeps coming loose when the reel is together, ive got lines on 2 of the spools and this happens with those and the empty spool.when the reel is together if i give it a shake the spool pops off and i have to push it back on from the back of the reel or take the reel apart and push it on.am i doing something wrong or is this a common fault with this reel,im lining the 2 red dots up and pushing the spool till it seats tight.might just take it back to shop in the morning as wouldnt want this happening with a good fish on

Strange that it's a pukka reel
Does it stay secure without a spool loaded on?
Check the thread on the inside of the cage see if it looks ok
Other than that I can't think what it could be
Defo the knoob on the handle side and not the drag (don't take that as a dig mate please)

its the plastic cassette that slips off towards the back plate,i can push it back on(towards the front of the reel)put a good shake and it moves again

Is the rubber o-ring seated correctly on the spool carrier/handle? The o-ring is what holds the spools firm. Have the same reel myself and don't have that problem.. Quite the reverse in fact and sometimes struggle to get the spools off!

When you put the spool on do you feel it click when you push the spool onto the cage? Also when spool is clicked in and you go to tighten the **** with the leaf on does everything line up and look right
Are you local to the dealer? Pop in and see what they

Mine are all a good tight fit to just how I like it lol

I think I got confused does the reel stay together once screwed up ?
Is it just the spool pops off the drum if you give it a good shake

If once tightened it's all secure and together then after a few casts it's all works loose and falls apart as such pop back the dealers and get it changed, may be a faulty reel. But as said they are good quality so maybe 1 slipped through
