    anyone know if either of these are any good
    Scierra Sweep 9' #5
    Scierra Matuka 9ft #5
    im looking for a 9ft either 4 or 5# and i know they dont make these anymore but for around 60 quid are they worth a shot

    hi there they are middle action rods. a bit on the soft side but a reasonable rod for 60.
    they tend to let babless hooks come out a bit as the rod doesnt spring back quickley enuff. but for small fish they are ok ive found on fish that fight alot and weight 2lb or more you have to keep the rod low down when you hit the fish first off. then play it till your close in then the rod is more forgiving at this stage hope this helps you. i changed to demon 5# much better casting and loading quicker rod.
