Default Where to fish in Derbyshire?

I'm staying in the Snake Pass Inn in the Hope Valley soon. Can anyone recommend any decent river or reservoir fishing nearby. Somewhere to have a casual 3 or 4 hrs at a time during the day.

Definitely for ease go to Ladybower.

It's also Open weekend this weekend if you're around with quite a few from here going.

Thanks,
Unfortunately my visit is after the Open weekend, it would have been great though.

You are so close to Ladybower that I'd give that a go, looks like they have some good sporting and evening ticket options.
If you fancy a river then try the Wye Haddon Estate water.
Have a good one!

Dave.

Try Errwood. It's tucked away in the Goyt Valley. It's smaller than Ladybower, but not too small. Great, great place, though can be tricky at times - but not so tricky as Ladybower, which I personally find too big.
Errwood is relatively cheap, also - 15/16 a day (depending where you get tickets) You can get the tickets from a fishing shop in Whaley Bridge.
No connection with the club, other than a day ticket fisher, but a jewel.

Here's the website:
