And therein lies the rub!
right now, my good lady is browsing the web on her laptop, looking for accommodation on Deeside.
Means I will be booking a day or two on Dee spring time.
She has already pencilled in the dates in september for cuba, the cayo's.
Think we all know what that means too me!
In between, we might just manage Ballina again.
The rub is, whilst we are away, just once, maybe twice if I get a wee bit drunk, we will be at it like the proverbial bunnies!
That might be why she likes us to go fishing!
but then again, it might just be she likes seeing all these wonderful places!
regards
bert

This is a topic which is of great financial interest to me! I now get fishing tackle, especially rods (you can't disguise them) delivered to a friend of mine, because if my wife was to take delivery at our address, she would be demanding to purchase the same value in clothes/shoes/handbags/jewellery etc. So the cost of my new tackle would, in reality cost double!!

I then, as you do, sneak them into the house when she is not there.

Could this type of behavior be of interest to Jeremy Kyle?

Ha Ha. Learnt this from years ago when I started with higher end coarse tackle - take it or have it delivered to my dads and slip in into the holdall and no one's the wiser. But my mate once bought a seatbox 500 and when we went in their house he told his wife he got a bargain for 60, silly twit left big orange star with 500 special offer on when he carried it in the house

Mate, I lost my ex of 10 years under very similar circumstances.

I asked the the same question, she knew I was a sport fanatic and boxed, so had to train religiously.

She thought I would change, and then when the realisation dawned on her that I wouldn't, I was given an ultimatum...,, like I said, she's now an ex

Some women just think they can mould there partner into who they want them to be...... And when they can't, they sink their fangs into some other poor chap

Men, just want an easyife

Douglas

it was sorted on my wedding day ,i told her three things before we went in ,and this is genuine

1/ don't ever try and stop me fishing ,I have been doing it far longer than I have known you...

2/ always have a hot meal ready at the end of the day,i don't expect to come in after a long day and cook myself

3/ i don't do pack ups ....that's your job

I don't have a problem with my partner, we go away regularly together to different parts of the countryside , this gets us both some nice walking and lets me look at new places to fish.
She knows this, and if there is a loch or river on one of the walks she will suggest I take a rod. I will fish and she will read a book or go birdwatching.
A nice meal and a bottle or two of wine in the hotel later also keeps her sweet

Davy.
