    Default Aberfoyle Scotland rivers n lochs

    im due to go on a family holiday to aberfoyle on the 9th of march to the 16th march i have never been before as normaly i go to the highlands with the trout season running from the 15th onwards im not too happy with me leaving on the 16th lol does anyone know if the season is the same for Loch Ard (starts the 15th of march ) or differnet also whats the river like for slamon and sea trout ? any help or info would be greatful

    As it's in a national park.It will be the National opening day.15th March.The River Forth is very small above Aberfoyle.Below the main rd it is a bit better but normally for bait fishing.There ''Might'' be a few spring Salmon about.And the Lake of menteith.(just down the road).Is not open till the 23 march.
