Question Making up tippets and leaders

I want to tie my tippets onto leaders in the comfort of my home (where itís light, warm and I have access to my magnifying lamp!). I then want to wind the leader and tippet into a coil for storage. My question is: Should I start the wind with the loop or the tippet end? Is there a convention? Or doesnít it matter?
Thanks - Dave

I put slits in a section of pipe insulation, then wind them round leaving the loop end accessible.

The main thing is to be consistent and do it the same way every time. It helps to avoid tangles. I also find it easier to start winding with the tippet end.
