    Default Chatton Trout Lakes.

I was lucky to fish these lakes yesterday for the first time, more than impressed full tailed hard fighting.it is a credit to the owners for the well manicured area around the three lakes, very easy casting no obstructions definitely worth a visit.

Fear not if I steal from your side, as of yore, from paradise streams to fish Teifi once more.

A strange fact about Chatton(which is in England) is that because it is considered to be part of the river Tweed system.you are not required to have an EA rod license.

Heading down soon after hearing good things about it, we normally go to jubilee lakes but it would be rude not to try chatton at least once

Quite a number of years ago I headed for Chatton Fishery to meet up with some members from another forum, arrived there early morning lay down for a wee rest the river burst its banks upstream and washed my car and me away, one written off Colt1.5D. I have been meaning to visit there and have a day fishing, must try and fit something in my diary for the near future.

I was down a few months ago, the weather wasn't great, very cold and strong wind, then the day I fished it was really sunny, still had a good day, it's a really nice place I'd visit again, I stayed in Alnwick at the Oaks hotel, I wouldn't stay there again though
