Click on the posters name and it will bring up a few options 1 of these will be to message .

I can do it if I use the full site and open that, when I'm in mobile user there is no link there. Thanks for the replies.

No. Just the standard mobile friendly version. I've got all the options available to me now I've switched to the full site.
