    Default Hello to all.

    Hello everyone.

I am not a new member but this is my first post here.I have been a member of NAFFF since 2014 and occasionally log in on this site just killing time.I enjoy reading the posts here and have picked up quite a bit of knowledge in doing so.I have just seen a post on the NAFFF about new members lurking and i thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself.

I am Steve.I am in my mid 50's and i have enjoyed many types of fishing most of my life.Several years back while recovering from health issues,i took up fly tying as a way of staying in the fishing game and soon after i started learning fly fishing.Still learning and still not great at it but i love it.I fish mostly for largemouth bass and panfish but i do enjoy fishing for trout when i get the chance.

Just want to say hello to everyone and let you know you i think have a really great forum here.I will try to come out of the shadows more and participate in the conversations.

    -Steve

Welcome, Steve, good to see you posting here, too. I enjoy the NAFFF just as much as the UKFFF and I agree, we've so much to learn and share with one another. I look forward to seeing you chipping in as and when the mood takes you. Cheers, James.

Hi Steve, and welcome to the forum
You do realise that fly tying is an untreatable form of madness?
