    The most important thing is wear a life jacket, Avoid high speeds until you get a feel for the boat & avoid drastic course changes until you have some experience with the vessel. It will be a fun time.

    I just received my highly recommended Yorkshire tea , it’s very good but it was missing something. I added some Cuban rum & it hit the spot on a rainy day. A few cups of that tea & nobody will care if their fly lines not laying out straight. Carry on !

    it was made in a logging town( Darrington wa.), by a long time traditional method that started in north Carolina. it is now legally made by a local legal Distillery based in Arlington Washington . the homemade stuff from a still in the woods is still around ,also known as stump water.

    my drink of choice is locally called APPLE PIE , it comes in a mason jar with a cinnamon stick in it , the brand I like is called lil George .

    Airflo lines are very popular in my part of the world , maybe it's a special European line that has memory coils designed to protect your delicate leaders. never had a problem with them. It's the Rio lines & their short life span that are cursed in my area.

    Alec had a different way to size his hooks, odd numbers only & I always thought it was to a British hook size standard, oddly I never Asked him about it.
