On the water at 10.00 misty wet and very little wind Temp 6C water clarity to 8 feet . We are the only boat out today . Millpond describes the loch for most of the day . Fishing a sinking tip I put a green damsel on the tail and hit a beautiful brownie !! inside 20 minutes and it was in great condition . The last time this loch was stocked with some brownies was 2014 so it had at least 2 winters overwintering . We take 5 fish between us and lose 2 with quite a few follows and knocks all on the...

Arrived at 10.00 temp 9C water clarity 6 feet slight wind from the west . Jim Currie and Alfie in the other boat out today We fished the hawthorn tree on the south side while they fished the north shore . I fished a sinking tip with a damsel on the tail and had a pull half an hour in my partner had two follows and that was the limit of our fishing for the day . Very frustrating went into the bothy at lunchtime for a welcome bowl of soup from Sandra . Alfie and Jim told us what was catching them...
