    Your opinions on this?

My opinion is give the chap a break. He and his fishing partner Iby offer an escape and an insight to our world which is easy viewing and visually pretty reasonable.Maybe not to all tastes but live and let live eh..

Rod to pair with a Hardy Marquis 10?

Weigh the reel which should at least give a starting point. You will probably find reel loaded probably 8/9 ounces +.Most modern rods in the single hand sea trout frame 7/8/9 will not be tip bias.

    Stockbridge and the Test

Not really shown in the picture Ian is the pronounced spent wing effect created using quite dark hacklepoints.Mine are not as heavy in the hackle and spent wings are clearly evident.Another brilliant DDLL comes from the custom shop of Rob Denson.

River Rod - What would you recommend?

Try a Loop 9ft 6wt or a Scott Flex Series.

    Stockbridge and the Test

That is exactly why we locals call it Rob-A-Jents.... Auntie Wainright's Shop in Last Of The Summer Wine was the business model.Great shop but you need to leave before the party ends and don't leave without a couple DDLL's they are deadly.
