Default MRA Auction X Lot 40: A day on the Taff with Terry Bromwell

    LOT 40

A day on the river Taff, guided by Terry Bromwell, who has been worming this river since he was a small kid and, despite moving on to flyfishing, has never lost the knack of catching trout. An entertaining and knowledgeable guide, Terry has represented Wales in the Rivers Internationals for several years.

    Donated by Terry Bromwell

Trout fishermen revere the trout; trout, on the other hand, unaware of their sublime standing in man's world, revere nothing, including man, a creature they seem to view with special contempt. Nihilism is a rare trait in fish but trout are full of it. The old men liked that.

A good reason on my recent experience, to bid high for a day with a fabulous angler...maybe the best I have fished with!
