Anscombe's out of the RWC. B...dy warm up games.
I'm wondering if Jones will select the next 3 (3!) warm ups from his 31 or from the wider squad and then we'll get a better idea if they ARE warm up games or the ERFU trying to get much needed cash back into the bank. England's RWC programme is quite lucky in that their first 2 games are Tonga (tough) and the USA and some tuning can be done in these before meeting the bigger guns of Argentina and France.
Whatever, Anscombe won't be the last to miss out because of them, I'm quite sure.

Team announced and all 22/23 are from the squad of 31.

Looks like NZ have sorted their shirt out after last weeks game in Perth.

Retaining the Bledisloe cup for another year - now 18 in a row, after beating the wallabies tonight 36-0 in the return match in Auckland, NZ.

The NZ pack, down considerably in weight to the Wallabies, completely out muscled them, creating the platform for the backs.

    The highlights are on YouTube.

Cheers and sigh of relief beers!
    Luke.

Watched the youtube highlights; very rare to get a 'zero' but Oz managed it and NZ's empty war chest (sorry Luke), looked like it was full to to the brim.
Wales on top of the World! Very average game, nothing to moan about, nothing to crow about except for a moment of going for it that included 2 beautifully executed cross kicks and a try for North.
I sensed both sides were being a wee bit careful and who can blame them, even the minor fracas post scrummages looked little bit like ITV wrestling from the 60's or 70's.
Wales on top of the ratings, NZ remain the best team.

Forgot to mention; England remain the worst top tier side at the breakdown (just one grumble).

Big Daddy v Giant Haystacks, takes me back Del. Saturday World Of Sport and Dickie Davies.

Was a game dominated by defence yesterday. Wales were much better than last week but little cutting edge. England a bit one dimensional and this time their back grow didn't function.
