British Open Golf
First, Royal Portrush looks beautiful, however it appears I won't be camped out in front of the telly watching it over the weekend this year (maybe it's been a few years...) as it's not on the BBC. Or maybe it is but I couldn't see it in the on-screen TV Guide.
A bit of British and Irish interest too which makes it more frustrating, but a pity the 'local' lads, Clarke and McIlroy didn't make it to the weekend. Did McDowell?
Ah well.

Yes, McDowell is through - just. +1.

As well as Sky, the golf is on Now TV. Apparently you can get a week’s sports pass for £14.99. I might try this later if the rain continues. Otherwise, it is the highlights or Radio.

Point of order. It's The Open. No British needed. Anyway, I'm off to catch some Sea Bass

Lowry going into the final round with a 4 shot lead - I really hope he can go on and get the job done.
Tommy Fleetwood going well too.
Lowry comes across as a very likeable fella - no bullsh1t or ego. Enjoys a few pints and the craic.
He has blown a 4 shot lead before however - so I hope his nerves hold in what would be his first ever Major win. When all else fails , a running kick in the b0ll0x will often work wonders !!!
