England excellent just about everywhere and along with good decision-making, made them good, deserving winners.

NZ just unbelievable aided and abetted by an error filled performance by Ireland (3 penalty kicks to touch missed for example).
Hope we can slow 'em up next week.

Now, come on Wales and Japan!!!

New Zealand will take some beating. They never reached top gear today against a poor Ireland performance.

I fancy Japan against SA. They've improved with every game.

    I think/hope Wales beat France.

From what we see on TV, Japan have so far been magnificent hosts of the RWC.

Would much prefer a France v Bok semi final!

I think of all the quarter finals France have the biggest chance of causing an upset.

Still think its a Japan Wales semi.
If is Japan France, will be a Japan N.Z final!
Hosts versus holders, will be good telly!

    regards

In the TV build up I heard far too many people talking about Wales reaching a final. It did make we wonder if Wales was in for a bit of a fall here. Life works like that sometimes. Well, France are giving them a game here. 40 minutes to go.

Wales were fairly poor I thought, but I only watched it until the French fella got sent off... but they won and that’s all that counts in the knockout stages.

We were poor, really missed Davis as defence leader in the centre. The only positive was we stuck at it. Next week it won't matter, another day another game.

Now my blood pressure is returning to normal, I going to watch the Japanese.
