There was a rumour that someone had a bottle of champagne in the village in 1982 but no one likes to talk about it and it certainly won't happen again.

Well, from the Nation that invented 'stick it up your jumper' 10 man rugby, I guess you'd be an expert at spotting it

The ‘Chaps’ got to the final in 91’ playing the most boring brand of rugby you are ever likely to see , but hats off ... boy it was effective . And if they had just stuck to that game plan on the day they would have been the winners .

It didn't go forward from an opponent's hand though, it went forward from a Welsh hand

Anyway, it was a fortuitous win I'm sure you'll admit. The idiotic red card helped.

Bring on the semi. Wasn't too long ago Wales beating SA was unheard of. I've been to many Bok games in Cardiff, all happy memories. But Wales have built up a good record since the last world cup against some poor Bok teams, who went as low as losing to Italy in that time. This Bok team is a little different though, much better if not the finished article. It should be a good contest.

Hoping for a SA v England final.

Errrrr, since when did we need a number 10? 9 man rugby, in my view, is expansive enough.

A Welsh addition before next weekend's confrontation sees Owen Lane coming into the squad as a replacement for hamstrung Josh Navidi. Gatland's thinking that there's enough back-row replacements in this squad but a shortage on the bench for the backs. Lane can play on the wing or at centre.
2019 & it will be time for a change.
