Liam Williams was again outstanding and watching Fiji in full flow is a delight.

2 stand out games to come; England/France and Scotland/Japan; can't wait.
Well I don't have many finger nails left Del! That was Fiji's best performance and Wales were really rattled early on. I think it will have done Wales good to have had to battle like that before the knock out stage. Hopefully the injuries are minimal and we get give everyone a run out in the last pool game. Things definitely hotting up. England should be comfortable winners against France but the French can play if they put their minds to it. It's more difficult to call the Scotland game.

Yep, hope Jon Davies is OK; as the commentary said, he's not swatted away a tackler like that for some time (NZ?).

Sam W mentioned Fiji needing help to develop, but apart from playing rugby around the globe, what can be done apart from maybe including them in the SH Championship, but how would that sit with their European employers? A tricky one, but no doubt, they are the most naturally gifted players on the planet.

Jim, you might want to plan another fishing trip when they play Japan - just in case

So the weather has meant two games are canceled and may yet put Scotland out. A no brainer of course to put safety first in extreme weather, but I'm surprised that it is beyond the organisers ability to delay a match by a day or two or find an alternative venue?

It will be interesting to see what they decide to do... the press are all implying they could just cancel both England’s and Scotland’s game.... no issue for England, other than missing out on the chance to have match time against France... they’d still win the group. But it would be disastrous for Scotland and send them home.
Potentially a huge call for the ‘powers that be’...

Hopefully they typhoon will change course enough to let the games go ahead.

I really hope Japan make it through to the knockout stages, they’ve played the best rugby in the group so far and deserve to... although I’m not exactly sure how that plays out with Ireland and Scotland, other than the obvious.... one goes home.

Edit... just seen Jon’s post... so England def off, gutted, I love watching England beat the French
Fingers crossed for the Scotland game.

If England go on to win this, it will be because they had one less game and were nicely rested - I will be permanently scarred and will never be able to accept the result........

If England don’t go on to win this it will be because we had an enforced extra week break and we lost our ‘mojo’....

If Wales go on to win it’s because they’re in the easy side of the draw, and I will point this out for the next 40 years.... at least 10 of which I will be dead
