Thread: Photographs of Brown trout and Grayling for Tattooist.

Default Photographs of Brown trout and Grayling for Tattooist.

I'm after seriously detailed photographs of a brown trout and a grayling for a tattooist.
Images that show both at their best: a butter brownie with beautiful spots and a grayling image that captures the dorsal, chainmail scales, teardrop eye and that hoover of a mouth.

Just don't want to end up with a herring and a mullet.
Inside forearm is where they're going one on each.

Not sure what sort of angle you are considering. I take a lot of photos of brown trout, but I try to avoid a straight side-on pose. But it might make for a more 'dynamic' result not to go for a simple side-on approach???

Also, I would imagine a 'fins-out' look will be better than one lying on a bank with fins flat along the body?

    Possibilities?

If you fancy any of those and need to hand the artist a print, let me know and I will give you a high-res version.

God love you Col. Yes they'll give him the knowledge of exactly what I'm after. High-res would be wonderful.
    Now for the grayling...anyone:-)

Which one(s)? (I will need to go back to the RAW file(s) and make it/them.) PM me an email address to send it/them to - they will be 10 MB or so each.

Absolutely! If it is based on the copies of 1 and 8 that I sent you, I'm wanting to see a photo of the finished result in return.

Not sure if these would be any use to you but you are welcome to use them. Both caught in separate lochs in Shetland.
