Vince, and Grizz are maybe's depending on how other things pan out, NickS is at a wedding (poor management!) and yet to hear back from Tony J.

Beats me why anybody would want to fish those rivers. You can walk for miles and never a shopping trolley in sight, no burst bin liners on the bank to have a ratch through and no scallies to chat to whilst handing over your mobile phone.

No dress sense either. You never see anybody fishing in a hoodie and tracky bottoms.

I am playing in a rugby tournament in France in May so all of the matrimonial brownie points have been consumed. Hopefully the Foreign Legion will not be sending a team this year.

    Have fun!

Andy, it was a tough decision to make but it's just one of those things unfortunately. Too may things going on and not enough time to fit them all in. I'll regret it I know but there is an open invite for you here

Poor management indeed QS! I tried my very best to get out of it but to no avail. Quite gutted really as I look forward to this event every year. Like Vince, I will also be there in spirit
Fundamentally fishing is a philosophy. A philosophy of earth, and growth, and quiet places. In it there is a rule of life, a recognition of permanences. It makes you notice the little things of nature, wherever you may be. ~Bernard Venables

So whose wedding is it Nick? If it isn't yours, then it isn't poor management on somebody else's part, it is p1ss p00r prioritisation on yours. It's a wedding... so long as the bride and groom show... they'll cope. ***! Man up! You're setting precedents here for the rest of your life...
