    Default Rush job

Due to some packages with reelseats going missing i waited for as long as i could finishing this blank. I will be leaving in 11 days so i had to finish her up with a reel seat i had on stock.

What can i say same way of finishing. The thread used was my last bit of fishhawk olive, five spaced turn trims (5 weight) on the female ferrules and above the handle. I tried it first with single foot recoils but the blank didnít really feel any better so swopped them out for regular snakes. The seat is a dyed californian buckeye burl spacer with REC nsgxl hardware. I tried to change the look of my Cork some what and left it rather chunky. I just came back in from a cast and am going to slim it down on the lathe tomorrow evening. After that it is straight in the suitcase.

I know it isnít a shakey but i think it is a ok rodRush job non the less..

Sit still and watch the river, it's all a part of fishing, oh and never trust a man in sandals.

Nice, it certainly doesn't look like a rush job. Your builds always exude quiet class.
    Thanks for sharing.
