I would appreciate any info greatly.
    Hi UK

If it stopped rain now (Tuesday 28th Feb) it might just be fishable in 7 days. The main problem is that it plans to continue raining especially Thursday and Friday which puts your Tuesday following out. Worse still, it is forecast to rain again on that Tuesday which is not good for your second day (Thursday) down at Goodrich. However, WUF are very good at honouring their wash off policy when there is a flood. Must have been a genius who thought up that scheme.

UK, you could always bring your trout rods as well, there are plenty of rivers and tribs to explore and the upper Monnow is looking good at the moment for opening day and beyond.

Thank you for the reply, its not exactly what i was hoping for though, ive taken a week off work and a cabin in the forest of dean booked for the week, so this weather kind of ruins the week.
I better get cracking looking for something else to do in the area other than fishing i guess.

You can always find some worm fishing for trout. We have some here, but it depends on the water height of course.

Otherwise it looks like castle-watching then .

Maybe an opportunity to get him on the nearest grass to practise his fly casting!

What do they mean when they say unfishable, does that mean your not allowed to fish by not being physically able to or that your just wasting your time ????
Cause if your actually allowed to fish I would probably use the chance to just walk the stretch and get used to the water there.
