    Having been exactly in that situation, where the photo was taken, wife lost both her wading shoes in mud there, was quite a day!
    Agree though, losing the margin mangroves aint good for the ecosystem.

    Cormorant: understood re mangroves - thanks for clarifying.

    We had several good fishing days, although very strong wind made a couple of days unviable. Duni and Alex were excellent guides and even convinced OH to take part!

    The hotel looked after us well.

    Incidentally, the entrance to the lagoon by the hotel was cleared/reopened about 2 months ago and the water in the lagoon is now clear and weed is growing, which was providing cover for fry.
