Default Post Thomas Cook access to Cuba?

Now that Thomas Cook has sadly closed what are the DIY options for getting over to Cayo Coco?

As Bert has said by Canada and book with a tourist company

or TUI do fly there but not to Cayo coco
you could book a flight on yr own and then book on line for the hotel have a look at
Skyscanner: Compare Cheap Flights, Hotels & Car Hire | Cheap Airline Tickets
would think some one will jump to the TC slot soon

Travelrepublic do all the hotels on the cayos and all over cuba. Used them 10 or 12 times.hadn't done a package holiday with tc since 2013. Just flights.
Have booked direct with the hotels some of them take payment on arrival. But I've arrived at a hotel twice now and no connection so they can't take the card soon as it returns they're calling your room...knocking on the door.
Pay before you get there. Less agro.

It seems Jet2 have purchased all Thomas Cook landing slots at Manchester and some at Gatwick.
Perhaps they are aiming at long haul market now.
Will be running by late spring summer 2020, so who knows, might be worth holding of till 2020!

I hoped Tui would take on the route but decided not to wait any longer. I checked out several options - Flying to Havana and then taking an 8 hour transfer was stupidly expensive. I’ve now booked to fly to Toronto, stay and visit a few sights for a day or two then take a Canadian package to Cuba. Not the most convenient but decided to make the most of the Canadian leg. Just couldn’t bring myself to miss those big cuban Tarpon and hard fighting bones. Couldn’t book the Canadian package online so phoned them and booked and paid over the phone - no problem

I live in Canada (Winnipeg) and go to Cayo Coco at least twice each winter. For me, the main and least expensive carrier and all-inclusive vacation package seller to CC is Sunwing Airlines ( There are several re-sellers of Sunwing packages that I have used but I have found that they are usually all identical in price to Sunwing itself. Occasionally, these re-sellers will have an additional incentive, such as a room upgrade or some reduction on your next booking. The 3 re-sellers that I normally use are, or All 3 of these re-sellers are well established and have provided me with very good service. Just recently booked 2 weeks in CC in January and used prices for all the re-sellers were identical but redtag was offering airmiles which could be used for future vacations or to buy products from numerous retailers. Anybody going to be in CC January 18-Feb 1 and want to share the costs of a day on the water with Duni?
