Nice one Davie, I'll give it another go in a couple of weeks.
How are the weeds on the top bank? They were starting to appear last time I was up.

They were about the same as last time we were up. Mainly fished the far side of the island where the life ring sits. Took them all in the deep area to the side of it.

Fished this water on the 25/05/11 and it was a cracking day on the boat even with the rain.

Had a cast from the bank while my mate was enjoying a free coffee and lost a fish on my second cast, out on the boat and it was a cracking day out. Fish mostly in the top right corner.

Got two fish, lost two, missed a ton and got snapped off and this was on a poor day for fishing.

Will def go back and it will be a cracking water in the summer months.

Fished here last night for the first time. Nice wee fishery and very frendly staff. Fished from the boat and the water was very weedy, we were picking up weed even with shuttlecocks and suspender buzzers however the fish were keen and we landed 7 into the boat (3 for me 4 for my mate), we lost 2 or three others and had many knocks and offers too. Nice fish stocked that put up a good scrap. Well worth a visit.

Fished here last thursday evening and had an amazing night catching 9 rainbows all between 1lb 1/2 to 5 lb and had countless tugs all evening.
Weeds were a slight pain but however the owner is very aware of this and i'm certain he will get this under control. the place is looking very clean and is visibly being well maintained, i'm quite excited about this as it is very local to me and with the fishing being as fantastic as it is I can see myself fishing here far more regularly.

Not long back from a 6 hour boat session with Colin, fish were very hard to find but we managed 5 between us. Nice clean good fighting fish and John is a great host, his Coffee isn't too bad either
Heaviest of the day was about 3-1/2 to 4lb with the others in the 2lb+ range.
Great day and will be back again for some winter sport soon.
