fished this for pike in early december 2011 with 2 friends. not a nibble all weekend . met a local man of some 80+ years old who'd fished it all his life and blamed the lack of all species due to the static/otterboard tactics of "foreigners" .
after gaining some of his wisdom we relocated to the sunken/flooded church island channel still to no avail but did however come across 2 drunk "foreigners" promptly setting massive bouys of static lines !!!!!!!!! . unbelievable . we felt obliged to remove the said persons whom left willingly in a silver volvo estate. one word - fannies. ruining our lochs willy nilly.

I can verify this, this was up until early 2010 one of my most fished waters producing massive pike. I fished it every weekend, however the foreigners were static lining it and even got threatened with a knife from one polish guy ridiculous.
