Default great venue to fish

The glenburn is one of the best fisheries, in Ayrshire. Top quality fish from 2.5lbs to 14lbs. I would highly recommend it, to anyone who enjoys a good days fishing.

This is my favourite fishery and I can't fault anything about it! The fish are some of the best conditioned trout you will find and such good fighters! Stevie and tam have done a great job since taking over and the welcome and service is excellent! A must visit!

Went up to glenburn today. The fishing was not easy due to the easterly wind & the rain. I managed to tempt 3 nice rainbows, before going to do some stockie bashing lol. It made a hard day worth while.

Fished Glenburn today and had a good wee day. While battling a stiff westerly wind and a hangover from hell still managed to land 6. Every fish gave a good account of themselves. Don't think there was any hotspots fish seemed to be getting caught all over. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WATER. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Hi Stevie/Tam,

What time does the fishing start on Sunday for the NASC Cup? There's a few of us coming up from Ardrossan to fish it but no one knows when it starts. Hope it's as good as last year. That was a great day.

Kenny

Hi mate. Stevie and tam aren't on the forum but I can tell you it is on 9-4 but I'd phone and get your name down cos when I was up yesterday there were more than 20 names down already!

Cheers
