Just getting back in to it

Have a read through this thread: https://www.flyfishing.co.uk/threads/ahrex-hooks.616086/ You'll find you'll never be able to get all materials from one supplier, pain the butt and more so if they offer free postage on £XX and you can't make that amount due to not having in stock what you want...

    Rio Gold Fly line

I liked the Rio Golds, more so when reduced in price. Yes they are half weight heavier compared to most. A cheaper alternative (even when Rios are reduced) are Barrio GT125 or SLX and these are more true to weight.

Bloodworm in the Spirit of Fly Fishing?

Welcome to the forums. It depends on who you talk to! It's very difficult to represent the natural blood worm (chironomidae larva), they are small and live in tunnels/tubes in silt. So back to the apps, cluster of blood worm, erm! Stretching it a lot. Lure/attracter then yes. If it works and...

Morning guys. Another grey day and damp. NHS app? According to BBC website it's for the over 16s. However, you do need a smart phone no older than 4 years and an operating system that will run it. I can see if being beneficial to those that are out and about near others they don't know, people...
