All of the adders I've seen have been up in the north of Scotland.
I remember the Roads around Invermorison area having a large number of flattened adders, that area had more dead on the road than anywhere else I've traveled.
I've only seen 3 live ones, one at Kenmore and 2 at Invermorison...
There's loads of top notch fishing around my area for £50 the Clyde for example imo is absolutely top notch fishing, my local is only £15 its amazing value for money, Perth and district angling is only £230 it would take multiple seasons to fish all the waters.
Stobhall, Fishponds, Benchil...
I made the mistake of not putting him in his place at the beginning, I wasn't wanting to fall out with anyone or start arguing.
Last year he got carried away about how long I could stay out so I emailed the secretary the full run down of his behavior.
It's good to see a bit of fairness and decency going around other clubs, if clubs treat you fairly they earn your respect and that's priceless.
Some of the best fishing I've got costs me £15 a season 😂
Yes Bert there's still two employed boatmen one still lives in the bungalow, I'm not unreasonable or tight I realise there's overheads open or not, I would have been happy to help out it's not the money, between one boatman being a dick trying to tell me that I couldn't stay out plus a couple of...
I'd like to speak with the secretary and explain what I think but I feel he'll think I'm just whinging, I don't know him at all so it's a bit awkward, idk who else thinks what but I doubt very much I'll be the only one reluctant to pay atm.
On a more delightful note I got my permit for the...
Apparently it's to pay for a new boat (15ft coulum) I was expecting a cruise liner at 50% increase lol.
I'd like to explain to the secretary that the end of club is on the horizon if you don't wake up, I think they are living on cobinshaws past reputation.
£400 + 12.50 each visit = a day at any...

I've received a email from the club for this years subscription fee... I'm thinking are you kidding, idk what is going to happen this year and neither does anyone else, I'm not remotely interested in paying £400 fee then being stuck in the house due to a lock down again.
The AGM has been...
Rob has a vast wealth of knowledge that he doesn't mind sharing with others, he was kind enough to send me a selection of cracking lures, he's a real gent and a credit to the forum.
I don't subscribe to magazines anymore but I'll pick up a copy to have read of Rob,s article.
Do you mean they were sinking sitting static or when you were working the flies?
The 1st time I noted the density of fluoro was a taper pulling down a static foam daddy, I don't think 6lb would manage that?
If they were sinking as you worked them that's normal unless you are ultra slow in...
If your using fluorocarbon it can make the difference between floating and slowly sinking the buoyant fly, not necessarily a bad thing imo it's nice to have the choice.
I'd guess that you were using fluoro?
Last year I was putting my gear in the car for a days boat fishing when my neighbor asked if I was away for the weekend... I'm not even kidding 😂
When go to river I can fit everything into my pockets with room to spare.
