Messing around with sedge patterns tonight

With the beginning of the new year brings new opportunities so i look forward to further posts of my materials and flies
During last year we field tested some traditional Irish patterns with cdc incorporated into them.
The results were fantastic, here is a few we tried on the loughs with great results.
This is just a small selection we tied up.
Last month on Mask quite a few fish were taken on a new pattern i designed, the Mosely Gosling, and the gold Gosling.
But the one pattern that outfished all the patterns was the new sunburst Pseudo dabbler.
Pseudo hackle re dyed, 8 fish to the boat using this one.
I had a customer over here for a weeks fly tying tuition and fishing, had a brilliant week.
We tied up loads of new patterns and i even managed to get him to catch a few fish as well.

It,s been a while since i was on the forum,been busy with tying exams and doing workshops around Ireland.

Spent last week bleaching and double dyeing french partridge.
The reason for this was to come up with some gosling patterns that were easy to tie up as with using the duck flank you always get the feather turning on you and is a pain in the butt when bulk tying.
