He is a effing idiot so what if it's near a school? what relevance that? shooting is legal and normal if you live in the county, it should not be treated as anything other than normal.

Between labour and snp there's not a straw to draw between them with regards to animal rights.

Thomas Hamilton the gunman at Dunblane used handguns which were outlawed following the massacre.

Did you see the piece on the news about the Stoat removal from the Orkney Islands, cost 6 million. Surely they could charge some American woman to stalk and shoot them.

Ms Sturgeon hasn't a clue, if feral goats were not controlled the island would be overrun, what is she suggesting, to make it illegal to earn money from hunting, another well thought out idea!

You could argue the case with feral goats - indeed there was a recent cull in the Lomond NP but there’s no sport to be had targeting a domesticated blackface tup. That’s not hunting, that’s an execution!

Just a couple of points . 1) if the lads in the primary school are anything like the youngsters when I was that age , the shop owners will have made a rod for their own backs . they will spend most of their time getting grubby nose marks off of the window .

    2) The silly girl who shot the goat and the stag . Unfortunately these vanity photos and videos do field sports no favours. Camo , big grins , words like Monstrous . Why on Earth do they turn a simple job into an Extreme sport ? If you plaster your antics all over the Internet expect to receive incoming from all .

I entirely agree, but if someone is stupid enough to pay money to shoot a few feral goats and an old tup, why not take the money.

I have no interest in guns or gun shops, but I wonder if the MP would be writing letters if it was an off license, fast food joint or chemist across the street? Far more risk to the school kids.

I thought MP's were there to represent their constituents not bang on about their own prejudices.
