If some of the anglers in my club who own it, knew what was to be found lurking in the pools there, It might get busy, so I'll say no more. Luckily most of them prefer big open stretches without trees and high nettle strewn banks to deal with, but to me that all helps to improve the experience.
To spend the last three or four hours on it on a June evening, and catch the evening rise, is a joy to behold, fish or no fish.

    Steven,

My kind a fishing! Well, from the response so far, it looks as though we have a small streams thread well under way! And your allowed to put some photos of tackle on here Steven! How about a few photos of your Ari T Reels and some photos of your streams? maybe even a wee story about past expeditions of fishing on small streams! I know you have a few!

Look forward to seeing some of the small streams up north Wales!

I will make a serious effort this year Mostyn to take some photos of the stream and hopefully one or two of its residents.
It is strictly catch and release, so probably water shots in the net etc, as I value the little critters too much.
We don't really need any photos of Terry's (vermontdrifter) because he always catches big beautiful fish, and it will just upset us all.

burhan, there is a waiting list you know.!!
And I think Mostyn will insist on a Timmy Harris cane rod to be brought as your fishing stick.

    Hi all,

As some of you may know; I had to use the computer recovery disk to reboot and fix my lap-top, anyhow, I am back on line and the lap-top is working fine! But, I've lost everything I had on it! I have no photos of our local streams or any other photos that I can post on this thread! So I'm hoping some of you gentlemen of the angle, would post some pictures of your small streams; and maybe a little report to accompany them! This thread looks bare without photos!

    Thanks !

    Mostyn

Did you manage to use the WUF vouchers or did you get snowed off? We will be in Crickhowel for a few days in April and it would be great to meet up.

    Stephen

Looks like it will be September for the Eden. I also look forward to it very much.

In the meantime, some small stream piccies from last season....

    Default My Beck

Cracking idea Mostyn, heres some photo's of a private stream/Beck (somewhere in yorkshire) that I am fortunate enough to have sole access to fish and it is a cracker. I have been know to take the odd guest with me but not before they sign the Offical Secrets Act and blind folded on route.

I only go here maybe a dozen times a year but every visit is a joy and never a blank. Plenty of wild brownies and Grayling, summer fishing is very difficult here due to the vegitation but still worth it and great for winter Grayling.

3 Different spots on the beat.

    And two of the residents.
