Default Airflo cosmetics

Anyone have any thoughts on why the cosmetics on the Airflo range of rods, which are on sale in New Zealand, should have much different (and in my opinion, much better) cosmetic fittings?

NZ has quite high import tarrifs.so that could explain the difference as well as the fact that I found fly tackle a bit more expensive as well.Could be the dealers in NZ demanded a higher spec.Maybe somebody from Airflo could come on here and tell us if they're really was a difference.

Greetings from New Zealand. Manic Tackle Project Fly Fishing-Manic Tackle Project New Zealand-Australia-Blog-Reports-Guides-Gear-Travel-Advice-Trout-Tips-Flies - Home are the distributors for Airflo products in New Zealand and Australia. Manic have design input in conjunction with Airflo on some products (rods and lines) specifically for the New Zealand and Australian markets and for our different fishing conditions. The aesthetics on some products are a result of this.

I would be confident in suggesting the mandrels and blanks for the rods would be very similar if not the same and the only difference probably is the aesthetics.
Whilst I appreciate that New Zealand and Australia have different fishing conditions,I can't help feeling Airflo are missing an opportunity to exploit a market where the aesthics can play a big part.
I'd gladly provide them with some "design input" should they ever contact me.
