Default Greys wading boots sizing

Does anyone here have experience of their sizing?

Looking for some new boots to fit my size ten feet with a neoprene stocking. Snowbee recommend going up a size or two but Greys say they are Ďgenerousí

The last pair of Greys wading boots I had were the "G" series which I found to be very comfortable, enough width & toe room. I had 3 possibly 4 seasons out of them before the stitching on the uppers gave up the ghost. They were a size above my normal shoe size. However, this doesn't really answer your question because Greys may well have included size modifications since they produced the "G" boots. Perhaps trying a pair on prior to purchase may be your best solution.

Righto, Iíve been out and tried some Greys CT boots.... DONíT upsize, in my normal size they were like clown shoes, mahoosive, clumping great lips that are really wide.

I certainly wouldnít want to wear them for any length of time - Vision make nice boots.

When it comes to foot ware in the US the only thing you should consider are Birkenstocks'. (sp?) Every thing else is a cr ap shoot as to fit.

Ive a couple of jackets by Greys and they are size bigger than you would expect which ties in with your boot experience.

Oddly, I have some Hardy bootfoot waders (same company-ish) that are more conservative in their sizing. My overall impression with limited experience of Fishing clothing is the mid-priced brands are a little more generous fitting.

With so much clothing being online now a mistake by either party with fit needs a smooth and happy outcome. Thatís easier with high end products. One can tolerate a loose fit more than a tight one. If you have some margin to play with you can provide a better fitting garment.

Donít get me wrong, these were the right size - the shape of the damn things are like having a pair of barges alongside at the bottom of your legs. They are a very wide foot...
