I had 8 lines on the “economic” page, some have loops , some don’t , some are two coloured and some are’nt, one’s a double taper and another’s extra hvy.
Did’nt think they were all the same quality but different prices because of those differences stated above .Probably should have realised but there you go
    Thank you Noel .

I bought it to see if that length and weight suited dry fly on the Taff, as the #4 weight outfit (Orvis) which I was using lacked the delicacy I was after. I'd intended buying a pricier rod after but as this one delivers I haven't bothered.

The reel's a CNC Bio in black, costs 10.51p, get it !

I'd like to try one of the Toray rods they're selling in an 8'4 #3, if anyone happens to buy one in this half of the country and wouldn't mind me having a cast with it could they let me know please?
have you got a link to the line you got mate, going to buy this set up

    What do you think ?
Am I on to a winning combination ?

I bought the same rod last year. I love it.

I use it in tiny streams where I have to stand back from the edge so as not to spook the fish.

You can also crawl through the undergrowth with it fairly easily.

It casts accurately, if not far and a 5 inch Roach feels like a submarine on it, but I have managed to land a 8lb Carp too.

Here you go - they sent me a WF as the DT was out of stock. Their cheapo lines are okay too if you don't want to lash out on the trout line.

This discount code is bonkers, it can’t be long before they pull it. Anyway, making hay while the sun shines, I’ve just bought the following:

2x Eco reels 7/8wt black for £4.90 each delivered.
WF5F fly line for £3.50 delivered.
    9ft 6in 6wt rod for £16.81 delivered.
    200yds of 30lb backing for £2.79 delivered.
20 tapered leaders for £2.10 delivered.

Unbelievable, they’ll be paying us to take the stuff next.

Eh, maybe not... They cancelled and refunded all my orders bar one. They said you can only use the code once, worth a shot.
