Dear All

I have moved to Galway and I fully intend to fish the Corrib and Mask next season. I need a boat rod, preferably 10ft #6 wt.

I am fairly new to the sport but I can cast a line so the rod doesn't need to be too forgiving.

Any recommendations ??

I do not wish to spend more than ~£120

Any advice welcome ! ! !

Thanks

I like my Diamondback VSR 10' #6 for the boat - try Harris Sportsmail, there may be some left.

Another vote for the VSR 10' #6. I paid full price £375 if I remember rightly a few years ago. Has to be a bargain at £130 and it will handle 7 weight sinking lines easily.
