It's a good place to start if you are just getting into short line nymphing or want something that's easier to handle than braid ( What's my line? | Eat, Sleep, Fish ). I also have a Rio nymphing line; that one is lighter at the tip and you can hold more line off the water, but it's twice the price. I'm not sure if it's twice as good.

I use one as well as a Fish On FL - good value IMO.

I was just about to ask the question about Specialist Nymph Fly Lines and there uses and performance after receiving a email from Barbless Flies and offering the own version in white for 25.00.

Personally I think nymph lines are a waste of time , I would rather use a French Leader , and would rather buy a decent dry fly line . I think they were designed for competition anglers , but I would guess most of the competition lads would favour a French Leader that was twice the size of their fly rods , you can do a lot of damage with a 20 foot F/L and a 10 foot fly rod .
