Spot Jimmy's pair of dry flies being 'spaghettified'. Shutter speed 1/250 sec. Surprisingly, it doesn't need to be much faster to capture lead from a shotgun in mid-flight. This is 1/350 sec.

FS......I look like Billy Bunter....😀

Aye, the photos make it look like it was about 10 degrees warmer than it was, eh? I had 5 layers on all day and my No. 5 troosahs.

Your jacket is quite puffy too. And the colour... why... it's dark... very dark... almost... quite... black. Black! BLACK!!! Your eyes are lies. My eyes are pies! You keep me in the cellar and feed me on pins.

Great pictures Col (as expected!) Really like the trout in the water pics!
Spotted the dries in mid air - couldn't make the pattern out tho!

One will be the crippled midge (hackled Shipman if you prefer), in the mooth of the fish 4 from last. Can't remember what the other one was.

I was chopping and changing dropper patterns all day depending on the light and the visibility or whether we were amongst risers or wanting to pull them up when it was quiet/bright.,Most likely black hopper, black hog, yellow owl grunter on the dropper and a black Claret or ginger crippled midge on the tail...👍
