I like it Colin. Hopefully be able to try it this season. Were you thinking bob fly? Roag dabbler first choice as middle fly at the moment.

I was thinking for middle - as an alternative to the Roag dabbler... if it's doing nothing. Could go bob in a very light ripple that is a bit too light for the usual muddler.

Nice idea lad....👍 Which blue mix did you use for those hackles,it looks different to your roag blue to me..?
