I struggle with the cold early season never mind mid winter, the only way to fish my local rivers is to wade. With breathable waders and lots of layers I can just about manage an hour in the water.

I've been searching for some inexpensive, neoprene, stockingfoot waders for a while and came across these.

I havent tried them yet but they look pretty decent, at 60 odd quid I reckon they're a bargain.

I got some Caddis breathables just as a spare and they're fine quality wise. I went for them as they were heavily discounted at the time.
Have a look at Bison, they do 5mm neoprene so should be warmer.:

I have got those caddis waders. Can't complain at the price. They are basic, no doubt about it, but they are warm and dry so far. Foot shape is basic and suspenders are Velcro not buckles but work fine.

I only use them in the depths of winter and for float tubing and they do the job.
