Donegal Balleybofee Area info needed for fly fishing

Hello and good evening folks .

Im due over to the above in a couple of weeks for long weekend and im really keen to go do some fly fishing on some lakes .

I know the River Finn is right behind my hotel but im really hoping someone can point me in the right direction for some lake fishing for Rainbows and Browns

So Any info would be greatly appreciated

its a bit of a drive but for my money the best brown trout lake fishing in Donegal is to be had on the Dunfanaghy Anglers waters - Sessiagh and the New Lake. Creeslough Anglers have lough Natooey which is stocked with rainbows haven't fished it much but have had good fighting fully finned fish from it. Sessiagh is my favourite great trout in it.

You're not a million miles away from Derg or even Melvin.
Might catch some mayfly fishing if you're lucky.
