4th Spring Bank Fishing Competition
Sunday 28th April 2019 at Elinor Trout Fishery
A friendly and sociable event, open to members of the Guild only. The competition will be contested by teams of three but members entering as individuals will be placed into a team if feasible. The plan is to fish from 9.30 a.m. till 12.00 noon and again from 12.45 to 5.00 p.m., ending with a light meal and prize-giving ceremony nearby.
Anglers may kill the first four fish and then catch and release a further eight. The winning angler will be the one with most fish. In the event of a tie, the weight of the first four fish will decide the outcome. We hope to see many of you there to join us for what will be a most sociable and fun event.
The entry cost is £35 per person. To secure your place, please send a nonreturnable deposit of £10 to the Fishing Competitions Secretary, with the balance being due on the day. Contact details: Lee Hooper on fishing@flydressersguild.org for more information.
