Hi All,

Thinking of trying the free stretch mentioned in Theo Pike's "Trout in dirty places" book next week. Anyone knows if this is still a free stretch or anyone has an idea how to confirm so?

Thanks!

Pat

I live just outside Farnham and as far as I know the town stretch is still free to fish - predominately Chub and Trout

Thanks Dougieb,

I think the "downstream" limit of the free stretch is the A31 bridge, any idea where the upstream limit is?

Might try it next week.

Not 100% sure but I think it's up to the where the river goes under the A31, I know Grayshott Angling Club have the rights just above this

River flows from west to east. All water north of the A31 can be fished, assuming possession of an EA rod licence.
