Or Bob Church? Personally I hear that the real qwality rods nowadays come from Timperley. Of course only those "in the know" ever get to use them.

2-handers: Toss up between R. B. Meiser and Kerry Burkheimer. Both design and build their rods from a sheet of paper up to the finished product.
