Hi everyone

We are heading off for a week in Cuan during August. Does anyone know the area and could recommend fishing please? It looks like there could be a lot of beautiful, watery spots!

Kilmelford hill lochs. Make sure you get the right permit as there are two sets of lochs. Permit from the Shop/Post Office, or used to be. The Oban and Lorne Angling Club have a lot of lochs including those at Kilmelford, Kilmore, Scammadale and Glen Feochan. Permits in Oban.

hiya

Thanks for putting me in touch with Oban and Lorne. They have been really helpful.

I am hoping to find something a bit closer to clachan if possible though. Would you have any ideas please?

no worries. I got the OS map last week, there looks like there should be good hill fishing around, so will take the kit up and ask in the local shops. Toby
