Anyone tried these for trotting, I’ve been watching an angler on the Don on a YouTube clip.

That’s where I just saw them Noel, some bloke fishing on the Don with them and catching loads of grayling.
Might give them a try when trotting.

Certainly looks interesting and if I'm able to get down to the river before the middle of March I will be tempted to give them a try. The only problem i can see is that they might be a major "come-on" to the trout. They would certainly solve a bait problem in that there is no-one nearby who sells maggots and with these I could use some and have some left for another day. Cheap too.

They come in tubes as well Jim in yellow pink white and green, you can put them on your hook and roll them to look like a maggot shape.
Developed by the guy who is Prestons, big in the coarse angling fraternity.
Hard to get maggots in my part of the world so I’m going to try them for trotting.
