Where the trout are
After seeing and hearing about the Red Throated Diver that is over at Musselburgh, I Decided to go and have a look today.
getting there met up with a couple off mates that were there yesterday, and told me that there was no sign off it today, typical I said. so later i decided to go along the sea wall
and there it was working the shoreline, climbed over and sat down at the waters edge as it fished away in front.
a few images.

Where I want to be
I seem to be making a habit of disturbing otters at meal time just lately. I was walking down the riverside path this afternoon when I heard crunching in the bracken a few feet away, the next thing I know a tail appeared! There were two others out of sight just behind the bracken. I felt a bit bad putting them off lunch but when I returned later the fish was gone so I hope they came back to finish it off.

A bit depressing this one so my apologies. I strapped the little lad on and went out for a walk this morning. I passed this sight and thought I'd take a picture. We don't half mess things up do we?(and this is the royal we, not the majority of the people on here I would hope).😞
