This pattern will cover most emergers, and can be tied in any colour, or combination of colours that takes your fancy :)

Hook - Hends BL599 size 14.
Body - Cock pheasant tail dyed black.
Rib - Silver wire.
Wing - 2 CDC feathers dyed Black tied full and 1 CDC feather tied short (A sight aid for me )
Wing case - 1mm black razor foam.
Hackle - Cock hackle dyed Black.

Lovely tying, you think the wing case adds much to the pattern? Assuming that gets very fiddly in the smaller sizes!

I put the wing case on to splay the hackle down the sides Daniel.
It's not too fiddly if you cut the foam thinly enough.

This may explain it a little better Daniel, this one is tied on a size 16,.
The foam seems to compress the hackle to the side which I think may aid buoyancy. It makes the most of the hackle too, there are only 4 turns on it.

They work well on both still, and running water Daniel.
I wish you success with them
