Anyone know if the Cascepedia can be reversed from RHW to LHW and vice versa?

Can't find any info on the Hardy Web Site.

Thanks in advance,

The Sunbeam mechanism appears to be very similar.

Thanks for that. I have a Sunbeam which is reversible but switching the Line Guard is a reall fiddle and fraught with Stress! I did it without busting those little springs but wouldn't care to do it again!!!

Ah bo11ix! So it's really that fiddly then?

I have a RHW Sunbeam 6/7 that I was planning to change to LHW.
Don't think I'll bother now. To say that I'm cack-handed would be an understatement

Well, Mies, I did it with a Pin and a Paper Clip. It's getting the sort of hexagonal holding spring out and in again that's fiddly but you can just reverse the interior mechanism and feed the line through the other Line Guard Hole if you bust it.

Worth a try 'cos if you do bust it you've lost nothing. It's a lovely Reel.
